DC Young Fly

John Whitfield, better known by his online alias – DC Young Fly- is a rapper, actor, comedian, singer, and internet personality.  In 2013 and early 2014 he started making Vine videos of himself, roasting people like B Daht and comedy star Fat and Paid. In September 2014, he used the slogans “Bring dat ass hea boi” and “Fawwwkumean” roasting Kevin Hart, Welvin Da Great, LeBron James, Drake and Meek Mill. His video on YouTube roasting Michael Blackson reached over 1 million views.

DC Young Fly made his film debut as “Eric” in David E. Talbert’s film Almost Christmas, starring Kimberly Elise, Omar Epps, Danny Glover and Gabrielle Union, and had a lead role in the film #digitallivesmatter.  He became a recurring cast member on the improv comedy show, Wild ‘N Out and has made cameo appearances in The New Edition Story and BET’s original series The Quad.
